Introductions

Hello!

This is Walthus Proudstump - fan-fiction writer. I wanted to post a few resources for the readers to help explain certain aspects of the stories that will follow. The setting of these novels, much like their early 2000s inspirations, is the Dungeons and Dragons 3.0/3.5 Edition World of Greyhawk.
You don’t really need to know very much about that setting, though, since nearly every term and location is described within the stories (as is relevant) and should be reasonably clear what/where they are. However, for transparency, I’d rather have these links for readers to look into, since I have tried - for the most part - to remain true to some of the setting parameters if for no reason other than it has given me a good base to work from. Calendars, location names, etc. have all been used and I have attempted to keep everything internally consistent.
However, I have taken liberties with these older stories and changed them to match my own writing style - themes, characters and their backstories/motivations, distances between locations, monsters, etc. have been altered (either in large or small part) to suit my needs as a storyteller. I’ve enjoyed this exercise as a writing practice, creative outlet and collaborative project with others who have encouraged me along the way.
Also, for legal reasons - I do not own any of the stories I will post, even if they have changed so significantly that they only resemble their counterparts in superficial ways. Some of the stories I will post are original works, using the same characters and settings in the rewrites of published novels. I have done so to close the gaps between stories or tie up loose threads created by the narrative, where I have seen fit.
I hope you enjoy reading these as much as I have enjoyed writing them. I have left comments open, so feel free to share your thoughts - cruel or vicious remarks, however, will not be tolerated and I would encourage you to recognize that time and effort went into writing these stories. So, you know, be respectful or feel free to keep scrolling.
